Amen Dunes and Axxa/Abraxas at Hotel Vegas. The indie-rock kingdom seems fond of solo artists who record under a band name, and here’s two more. New York’s Amen Dunes, aka Damon McMahon, has opened things up a bit on his new record, “Love,” working with a support crew that included members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Axxa Abraxas, aka Ben Asbury, hails from Atlanta and is touring behind a self-titled debut disc released in March. Hidden Ritual and Art Acevedo — not the local police chief, but the band named after him — open the show. $10. 9 p.m. 1502 E. Sixth St. texashotelvegas.com. — Peter Blackstock
