Road trip anyone? Utopia Fest releases lineup

Utopia Fest, the two-day music and camping festival located at Four Sisters Ranch roughly three hours southwest of Austin has released the lineup for this year’s event. Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA backed by local Latin funk outfit Brownout gets top billing on a Friday night bill that also includes Father John Misty (solo) and bluegrass Dead-heads Grateful Grass. On Saturday Cold War Kids, Warpaint and Kishi Bashi all perform.
Austin bands make a strong showing throughout the eclectic lineup with Wild Child, Wheeler Brothers, Aaron Behrens (Ghostland Observatory) and the Midnight Stroll, Holiday Mountain, Cilantro Boombox and more all putting in appearances.
Utopia Fest is Sept. 12-14, 2014. Tickets are $132 for a weekend pass, $87 for a Saturday pass and $33 for admission to the Thursday pre-party with Keller Williams and Golden Dawn Arkestra. Kids 3-11 are $11. Regular camping is free. Car camping is $50/car. More information.
