Watch: ACL Fest artist Lana del Rey releases ‘Ultraviolence’ video

Lana del Rey, modern music’s preeminent purveyor of vaguely sad numbness and one of ACL Fest 2014’s main attractions, has released the video for the title track off her album “Ultraviolence.” The clip, which premiered on Noisey, features the chanteuse making ample use of retro-style filters and really getting a good twirl out of a wedding dress. According to Noisey, the video was shot entirely on an iPhone. Watch it below:

If you dig del Rey’s singular brand of breathy ennui, this is the video for you. If you think that del Rey is little more than a sentient pout, the “Ultraviolence” clip won’t change your mind. (Keep in mind: Del Rey is scheduled up against the Avett Brothers on Saturday night at ACL, so start thinking about who’s worth your time.)
