Fun Fun Fun Fest Nites. Before the action starts at Auditorium Shores on Friday morning, Fun Fun Festival kicks off with a diverse selection of artists playing Nites shows in 10 downtown clubs. Highlights include a reunion show from local underground heroes Mineral at the Mohawk, a pair of NYC-based outfits — new-grass band O’Death and proto-punk band the Dictators — inside and outside at Red 7 and nerdcore rappers MC Chris and MC Lars at the Parish. Admission to all Nites shows is included with a Fun Fun Fun Fest wristband. Information: funfunfunfest.com. — D.S.S.
