Blonde Redhead at the Mohawk. As indie rock bands go, Blonde Redhead has been fairly all over the map, perhaps owing to its 1990s roots in an alt-rock scene that differed somewhat from the modern indie culture. Geographical diversity may have broadened their sound as well: Though they met in New York, singer Kazu Makino was born in Japan, and her twin-brother bandmates Amedeo and Simone Pace are Italian natives who were raised in Montreal. They’re touring behind “Barragan,” their ninth studio album. Dot Hacker opens. 6:30 p.m. doors. $20. 912 Red River St. mohawkaustin.com.

Also: Los Angeles dance-punk duo De Lux plays Holy Mountain with Wunder Wunder. … Spoken-word indie-rockers Listener are at Red 7. … The Gravy Brothers, a side-project of local bluegrass band Wood & Wire, continue their monthlong Sunday residency at the Cactus Cafe.
