Tickets to former Austin singer Kat Edmonson’s return from New York for a  performance at KLRU Studio 6A went fast when they were offered as a bonus for anyone who pre-ordered her new album “The Big Picture” at Waterloo Records a few weeks ago. But if you weren’t one of those who got in, you can still listen to the concert, which will be carried live on KUTX at 8 p.m. Monday.

“The Big Picture” came out Sept. 30 on Sony Masterworks and hit the top spot on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart for developing artists. Edmonson moved to New York three years ago, between the releases of her 2009 debut album “Take to the Sky” and the 2012 follow-up “Way Down Low.”
