The city governments of Hutto and Taylor, TX came together to combine in a mega-site acreage and incentives deal to try and lure Tesla to the Central Texas area. A parcel of land consisting of 1,053 acres that was from a combined 11 owners had the allure of Tesla executives along Texas Highway 79 between the two cities which also featured railroad access. The automotive electric company chose Reno, Nevada, but not without a well earned fight for their business by these two small Texas towns.

Soon you can cozy up with your significant other at Hutto’s newest drive-in.

The City of Hutto has announced a grand opening of its new drive-in theater. The Globe Drive-In is located at the Brushy Creek Amphitheater at 1001 County Road 137.

You will need both a car slot and a general admission ticket for every person in your party for each movie you would like to see.

You will also need to choose a car slot based on your car’s size. A small size suits sedans and smaller vehicles, while the large slots are for SUVs, trucks, vans and jeeps. Any car slot purchased is good for both movies.

The City of Hutto said on Twitter they are excited to welcome the new drive-in to town.
