Former Austinite Renée ‘Judy’ Zellweger coming to Austin Film Society to chat

Noted Katy native Renée Zellweger, she of “Jerry Maguire” and “Bridget Jones” fame, currently starring in the later-life biopic “Judy,” is coming to the Austin Film Society for conversation about her life and career.

AFS artistic director and founder Richard Linklater will moderate the conversation with the Oscar winner, three-time Academy Award nominee and Texas Film Hall of Fame member. The chat takes place 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 at the AFS Cinema.
