Tickets on sale May 21 for Marvel Universe Live!

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. May 21 for the “Marvel Universe Live! Age of Heroes” stunt show, which is coming to the Frank Erwin Center Aug. 23 to 26.

In “Marvel Universe Live,” “The Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man join forces with Doctor Strange, master of the mystic arts, in a race against time to recover the Wand of Watoomb before it falls into Loki’s hands in this all-new, spectacular arena stunt show,” according to their press materials.

The Guardians -- Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot and Drax -- are making their first appearances in the show. They joinIron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk, Black Widow, Wasp and Iron Fist along with baddies Loki, Yondu and Green Goblin.

Look for special effects, “aerial maneuvers, pyrotechnics, martial arts, motorcycle stunts and vast 3D video projection mapping.” The show is appropriate for all ages. 

The Marvel Universe in general is having quite a little spring. As of May 7, “Avengers: Infinity War” has racked up more than $450 million domestically in nine days and more than  $1 billion mark worldwide in a record 11 days.

Meanwhile, “Black Panther,” which opened Feb. 16, made more than $693 million domestically and more than $1.3 billion worldwide.
