Gal Gadot as Diana in the action adventure “Wonder Woman,” a Warner Bros. Pictures release.

The reviews are coming in, and we can all finally exhale: Gal Gadot and “Wonder Woman” are that good.

Gadot’s Amazonian superhero rises above the recent grim tone in Batman and Superman stories (and that one with the two of them that we hate to remember but introduced Gadot as Wonder Woman).

From her first appearance in the otherwise dire “Batman v Superman,” Gadot has popped off the screen. When she lands in the middle of the final battle, Gadot isn’t playing Wonder Woman, she IS Wonder Woman.
