Summer at the Drive-In

Matthew Odam

The Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In kicks off its June programming with a double feature of 1984 family classic “The NeverEnding Story” and camp horror “The Blob.” The month of programming will include “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,” “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” and themed double feature nights, such as “Hitchcock Night” (“North by Northwest” and “Vertigo”). In addition to screenings, Blue Starlite also features a “poster lounge” inside an RV that gives filmgoers the chance to purchase original movie posters. Ticket packages range from $7-$55. The Blue Starlite is located at 1901 E. 51st St. outside of Austin Studios. For tickets and more information, visit
