Trailer for ‘Parkland’ hits web

Shot partially in Austin, director Peter Landesman’s upcoming film ‘Parkland’ dramatizes the hours surrounding the assassination of president John F. Kennedy. The film stars Zac Efron as Kennedy’s tending physician, Marcia Gay Harden, Paul Giamatti, Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Hanks, UT grad Mark Duplass and many more. An October 4 opening date has been slated for Austin.
