Off-Center Film Festival starts Thursday

Combining food, craft beer and cult movies, the seventh annual “Off-Centered Film Fest” starts Thursday This year’s theme “Stuntin’.” As in performing stunts, not the hip-hop definition.

OCFF kicks off Thursday at Fiesta Gardens with a 35mm screening of the comedy “Hot Rod” with special guests the Lonely Island (Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone). Expect a whole mess of craft beer. Gates at 6 p.m., movie at sundown.

A new restoration of the Jackie Chan classic “Drunken Master” screens Friday at Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline complete with Sam Calagione, founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and a five-course Asian meal.
