“B Movies and Bad History”

The Texas Archive of the Moving Image is teaming up with the Bullock Texas State History Museum for “B Movies and Bad History: Austin Edition” at 7 p.m. May 29. The presentation is free and open to the public.

Before Austin became a popular destination for filmmakers and film fans, it served as the setting for some pretty crampy, dated movies. Elizabeth Hansen, outreach manager at the Bullock, and Madeline Moya, curator at the Texas Archive of the Moving Image, team up for a fun and laughable presentation (think: clips, not full movies) on strange films made in Austin long ago.
