Long story short, there's a corgi meet-up at Zilker Park next week

The perfect dog: low to the ground, with a fluffy rear end and pointy ears. Eyes should be round — too round? No, they're right. I am talking, of course, about the corgi.
If you own this particular breed of dog (you should), you might want to swing by Zilker Park on Tuesday, because there's a corgi meet-up planned. According to a Facebook event, the party starts at 5:30 p.m.
If you can't make it to this stubby-legged soirée, there are a couple more wag-worthy events dedicated to the Welsh wonders around Texas this year. For example, there's Corgi Convention Corpus Christi, a beach-side gathering on June 15 that's not really a convention, but more of a sand frolic. And we'd be remiss to not mention the third annual Texas Corgi Roundup, happening Nov. 9 in Temple. Last year, organizers say 625 corgis showed up. Beautiful.
Corgis, man. Flawless.
