Cry havoc and let slip the stuffing of war! There's a fight brewing next month, and it sounds ... comfortable.

In celebration of International Pillow Fight Day on April 6, a local event group is planning a giant pillow skirmish. According to the Facebook event, the public pillow fight will go down from 3-6 p.m. at 1200 Town Creek Drive. The free, rain-or-shine event will have a "play" area and a "safe" area, in case folks want to watch the action from the sidelines.

Organizers say they are working with Salvation Army so people can donate pillows on site. (Attendees are encouraged to bring one pillow for fighting and one pillow for donation, so as to not donate a used pillow.) Monetary donations will also be accepted for Salvation Army, organizers say. Volunteers who wish to help with clean-up after the fight can reach out to event organizers through the Facebook event.

Now, the only question: Do you have the right pillowcase picked out?
