Fourth Sundays Flea at Fareground. The downtown Austin food hall hosts a new tradition on the fourth Sunday of every month — the Austin Flea. The flea market features handmade items and vintage wares from local vendors. L'eggo My Cocktail at Trace at the W Austin. In honor of International Waffle Day, the Trace restaurant hosts a one-night-only happy hour that will offer breakfast for dinner. "God Save Texas." The LBJ Library and Museum hosts a talk about all things Texas with two of the state's most recognized authors, Lawrence Wright and H.W. Brands. They will examine how Texas became a national leader, what our current state of affairs is and which direction the state is headed. Grupo Fantasma at Waterloo Records. “American Music, Vol. VII” is the title of the latest record by the heralded local Latin funk ensemble, following six albums released from 2002 to 2016. They took a long break after 2010’s Grammy-winning “El Existential,” but reconstituted 2016 release “Problemas” marked a revival that continues with their second set for Texas label Blue Corn. 5 p.m. Wednesday. 600 N. Honk!TX 2019. Enjoy the best in brass sounds from local bands and international performers.
