Banger's 3rd Annual Barrel-Aged Bonanza. For the third straight year, the beer-loving Rainey Street bar is hosting a celebration of beers that have been perfected in barrels. And you probably won't find a tap list, featuring more than 30 barrel-aged options, anywhere else. Beers include Brash Brewing Hammer Smash Face, Firestone Walker Mole Merkin and (512) Brewing Whiskey Barrel-Aged Double Pecan Porter. There is even a gin barrel-aged cider. 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 24. "Momentarily" and "Arranged Flowers." Grayduck Gallery celebrates PrintAustin 2019 with two exhibits featuring exceptional print makers: Amze Emmons and Yoonmi Nam. Emmons catalogues repeating patterns in our daily world, noticing continued perseverance in the face of uncertainty and hardship. 2019 Grow Green Landscape Professional Training Series. This new series has been developed with the goal of protecting our natural resources. Austin residents will be given access to a variety of landscape professionals who can offer sustainable options for landscape design, installation and care. The Garden Club of Austin will host a meeting centered around this topic, with how-to demonstrations that will include various succulents and antique roses. Winter Tree Fest. Celebrate Texas trees with the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, which will offer family-friendly tree climbing, walks and talks, s'mores roasting, fort building, a scavenger hunt, a tree sale and more. Pruning Grape Vines. Roger Igo and Stacie Primeaux of the Natural Gardener present a new free workshop.
