Pastrami sandwiches and craft cocktails at Better Half’s pop-up Saturday

Better Half, the forthcoming all-day restaurant from the owners of Brew & Brew, is hosting a pop-up today at 2 p.m. at Brew & Brew. Chef Rich Riembolt will be taking his housemade pastrami sandwiches (and roasted mushroom sandwiches) out for a test drive, serving the sandwiches until they run out.

In addition to the sandwiches from the Jeffrey’s and Josephine House veteran, Better Half will also be sampling their tap cocktail program, serving whiskey and mezcal cocktails (one per person). Better Half is slated to open at 1203 W. Fifth Street (at Walsh Street) in March.
