Local artists to create the ‘F1 American Soundtrack’ during Grand Prix festivities

The big musical attractions for the Formula One Grand Prix, set to go down Oct. 20-22 at the Circuit of the Americas, are Justin Timberlake and Stevie Wonder. But on Thursday, event organizers announced plans to program 30 local artists on satellite stages around the track during Formula One weekend.

The artists featured represent a broad range of genres from the roots rock collective the Texas Gentlemen to the indie rap of Zeale to the Peterson Brothers’ blues. The weekend will also feature appearances from Prairie View A&M’s Marching Storm and the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.
