Franklin Barbecue hosting two Hurricane Harvey benefit pop-ups at Mohawk

Matthew Odam

Franklin Barbecue lost its smokehouse the weekend that Hurricane Harvey hit Texas, but that’s not stopping them from doing their part to help relief efforts around the state. Aaron and Stacy Franklin’s barbecue operation will host two pop-up lunches on September 17 and 24 at the Mohawk, co-owned by Franklin’s Hot Luck partner James Moody. The events will run from 11 a.m. until sold out. Tickets cost $30 at the door. Best get in line now. The bar will be serving happy hour prices all day.
