Pro wrestling has changed a lot since the heyday of Hulk Hogan in the 1980s and the Steve Austin era in the late 1990s. And the indie wrestling scene in Austin is booming, with no fewer than four companies hosting events each month and people from all walks of life training at places such as America’s Academy of Professional Wrestling in Pflugerville.
