A RadioShack ad that debuted during Sunday’s Super Bowl was crafted by Austin-based advertising firm GSD&M.
The 60-second commercial helped launch the electronics retailer’s new “Do It Together” campaign, designed to promote the chain’s modernized stores and a new assortment of products that’s being offering.
It’s GSD&M’s first work for Fort Worth-based RadioShack.
Another Super Bowl ad, this one for Budweiser, featured actor Don Jeanes, a 2003 graduate of Texas State University.
In the commercial, Jeanes reprises his role from last year’s Super Bowl ad, playing a Clydesdale trainer.
Both the RadioShack and Budweiser ads aired nationally.
San Antonio-based H-E-B, meanwhile, aired a regional ad in several Texas cities that featured former Dallas Cowboy Troy Aikman.
The 60-second spot kicked off a statewide search for a new Primo Pick product – items made in Texas and sold exclusively at H-E-B.
