Faces/Small Faces hoot night at the Sahara Lounge. Resident rock ’n’ roll hall of famer Ian McLagan leads an outstanding bill of locals in a tribute to his British Invasion roots. The night also will feature songs from related bands and solo projects including the New Barbarians, Humble Pie and Rod Stewart. Vintage concert footage and documentaries will be screened in between sets. Joining McLagan are Idyll Green (formerly Hacienda), JoDee Purkeypile, Sally Crewe and Tameca Jones to name a few. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Alzheimer’s Association in Research. $8, $6 if you bring two friends. Free African buffet. 7 p.m. 1413 Webberville Road. — D.S.S.
