Lauren Petrowski moves to mornings on Fox 7

Fox-owned KTBC has tweaked the anchor lineup for its morning newscast.

Weekend anchor Lauren Petrowski joined anchors Amanda Salinas and Dave Froehlich starting on Monday, replacing Keri Bellacosa.

Fox 7 has the longest morning newscast in Austin, clocking in at five and a half hours, from 4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Bellacosa, who joined the station in 2007, has left Fox 7, according to general manager Michael Lewis.

“We want to thank Keri for her many contributions to Fox 7 during her time with us,” Lewis said.

The station is looking internally and externally for a new weekend anchor to replace Petrowski, a spokesperson said.
