CMA Songwriters Series with Jamey Johnson, Raul Malo, Rob Hatch and Bob DiPiero at the Parish. A tour promoting the Country Music Association, one of two organizations (along with the Academy of Country Music) that hosts a big country awards show every year. Jamey Johnson co-wrote George Strait’s memorable late-career chart-topper “Give It Away,” and both Rob Hatch and show host Bob DiPiero have wide-ranging catalogs as well. There’s consistent greatness in Mavericks leader Raul Malo’s body of work, though he’s known more for his voice than his writing. $15-$60. 8 p.m. Wednesday. 214 E. Sixth St. theparishaustin.com.
