Of Montreal at Mohawk outdoor. Like many of their associates in the loose Elephant Six Collective of bands, Athens, Georgia, outfit Of Montreal tends to play music that’s all over the indie-pop spectrum. Most any stylistc approach is fair game — sometimes within the span of a single song — as long as it’s a bit off-kilter in some manner. Polyvinyl Records labelmate Pillar Point opens. $18, 7:30 p.m. doors, 912 Red River St., mohawkaustin.com. — P.B.
