ACL Fest pushes back opening gates to noon because of rain

The Austin City Limits just issued a press release about a one-hour delay to the festival’s start today:

Due to heavy rains overnight and into this morning, we will be delaying the start of ACL Festival today by one hour.  Doors will open at 12:00pm with the first bands beginning at 12:30pm. 

In order to maintain our 10pm curfew, we will unfortunately have to cancel the following performances:

 Riders Against the Storm

Knifight

Chain Gang of 1974

Wesley Bray and the Disciples of Joy

The Nightowls

The Levites

 We have been addressing soggy areas throughout the park all morning with drainage and mulch.  We will continue to monitor throughout the day.
