Tickets for Seether, Cult, more on sale
A few hard rock and metal offerings at Stubb’s highlight this week’s ticket sales. South African band Seether will stop by the outdoor amphitheater on Oct. 16. The Brits of the Cult will take the same stage a few days later, on Oct. 28, followed by Rise Against on Nov. 17. Tickets for each of the shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.

Award-winning Parsi poet Keki Daruwalla of New Delhi will be the guest of honor at Matwaala, a South Asian Diaspora Poets Festival. Co-hosted by the Poetry Caravan, Austin Community College and Austin Poets International, the festival will be from 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m Sunday at Casa De Luz, 1701 Toomey Road.
The festival will feature poetry readings, panels and papers, and the day ends with a reception and music and dance performances.
