Tickets go on sale Friday for Win Butler and the rest of Arcade Fire, playing April 10 at Austin360 Amphitheater.

Planning to catch Arcade Fire when the Canadian group stops April 10 at Austin360 Amphitheater? Note the dress code the band has requested: Concertgoers are asked to wear formal attire — or costumes — for the arena megatour that will include material from the recently released “Reflektor.” Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Other big announcements? Mr. Ron Swanson — a.k.a. Nick Offerman — will be performing comedy at the Paramount Theatre in February, presented by Moontower Comedy. A bit further out, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are set to play ACL Live in July. Los Angeles sibling trio Haim won a ton of fans with their performance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival back in October, as well as one of the inaugural Grulke Prizes earlier in the year at South by Southwest, and they’ll be at Stubb’s in April.

Lineup announced: The Trail of Lights has a preview party on Dec. 6, a 5K scheduled for Dec. 7 and its grand opening Dec. 8. And organizers have announced the schedule of nightly entertainment for the event, which is free to attend (VIP packages available). A week away

Music for a cause. KGSR’s annual “Broadcasts” two-disc set, featuring almost 40 songs from a host of well-known musicians both from Austin and who played here in the past year, will be available for $15 at stores around town starting Black Friday, Nov. 29. Proceeds will go to the SIMS Foundation, which provides mental health and substance abuse assistance to area musicians.

Next week in Austin360

Before she left town, Emma Janzen rounded up 10 of the bars that represent where Austin’s cocktail scene is right now and are doing interesting things. And we’ll have Nancy Flores’ monthly look at Latino cultural events and Dale Roe’s take on comedy shows coming up.
