Scottish post-rock group Mogwai are set to perform in Austin next year, touring behind their recently announced, forthcoming eighth studio album, “Rave Tapes.” The band released track “Remurdered” late last month and will be releasing the album Jan. 20 via Sub Pop stateside. Tickets go on sale Friday morning for their April 24 show at Emo’s. In other news, Panic! at the Disco is back in action, as are Fitz and the Tantrums, who played a show in town this past July.

Tickets on sale Friday:

• Fitz & the Tantrums at ACL Live (Dec. 12)

• Robert Earl Keen at ACL Live (Dec. 20)

• Grupo Fantasma at the Belmont (Dec. 31)

• The Maine at Stubb’s (Feb. 1)

• Panic! at the Disco at Emo’s (Feb. 12)

• Kodaline at the Parish (Feb. 20)

• The Expendables at Antone’s (Feb. 27)

Built to Spill plays Stubb’s on Nov. 23. The Besnard Lakes come to town Nov. 22, accompanied by Elephant Stone and the Boxing Lesson.
