An Evening with the Duplass Brothers. Indie film and TV stalwarts Mark and Jay Duplass take readers on a tour of their lifelong partnership in their new memoir, “Like Brothers” — and in this live talk produced by the Alamo Drafthouse and BookPeople. “Like Brothers” is told in essays that share the secrets of their success, the joys and frustrations of intimate collaboration and the lessons they’ve learned the hard way. Every ticket to the event comes with a signed copy of the book, and the brothers will stick around for photos afterward. 7 to 10 p.m. May 11. $47.93. First Baptist Church of Austin, 901 Trinity St.

“Rodeo! The Exhibition” opening at the Bullock Museum. Be one of the first to explore this new exhibit at the Bullock Museum. “Rodeo!” explores the origins, traditions and lasting legacies of rodeos and stock shows. Through artifacts, personal stories and multimedia installations, the exhibit reveals the ways in which these long-standing competitions are ingrained within the story of Texas. Want a more hands-on approach to learning about rodeos? Visitors can sit on a saddle, examine protective gear, stand in a rodeo clown barrel and pose as a roper. There will also be life-sized animal replicas. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 12; on view through Jan. 27. $9-$13. 1800 Congress Ave. 512-936-4629,

Adelbert’s 7th Anniversary Party. One of Austin’s Belgian-focused breweries is turning the lucky number 7 and will have 24 beers on tap to celebrate — 13 of those special offerings. In addition, the afternoon will have an outdoor game yard, a photo booth and a wide variety of retro games inside thanks to Austin Retro Rentals. Adelbert’s new permanent food truck, Liberation Kitchen, will also be serving comfort food. Ticket includes admission into the party, a raffle ticket, six half pours and a limited-edition anniversary glass. 1 to 5 p.m. May 12. $18. 2314 Rutland Drive, Suite 100.

O. Henry Museum Pun-Off World Championships. Watch as contestants test their skills at “the highest celebration of the lowest form of humor.” 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 12. Brush Square Park, 409 E. Fifth St.

512 Day at Little Woodrow’s. All five of Little Woodrow’s Austin locations are celebrating the fact that it’s Saturday — which, if written in numbers, is clearly an ode to our ZIP code and so much more. Enjoy drinks from (512) Brewing, Tequila 512 and Woody’s Ritas made with Tequila 512 for $5.12. The Parmer Lane, Southpark Meadows, West Sixth Street and Tech Ridge locations will have live music. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to ALL ATX Music. All day May 12. Free. 520 W. Sixth St., 5425 Burnet Road, 6301 W. Parmer Lane, 9500 S. Interstate 35, No. 100, and 12601 Tech Ridge Blvd.
