ASH Dash 5K Bunny Run.Follow the Easter bunny on this race through the Austin State Hospital grounds. Egg hunt follows the race; proceeds benefit children and adults with mental illness. 8 a.m. Saturday. $35. 4110 Guadalupe St.

Easter Egg Festival.Facepainting, crafts, games and more. Bring a picnic lunch, or barbecue and hot dogs will be on sale with proceeds benefiting First United Methodist Church’s Eurasia Mission Team. Nonperishable food donations will be collected for the Central Texas Food Bank. Free. 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday. Capitol grounds, Colorado and 12th streets.

Easter Egg Hunt and Celebration at Benthany Lutheran Church. Egg hunts, games, snacks, bounce houses, train rides and more. 10 a.m.-noon Saturday. Free. 3701 W. Slaughter Lane.

Spring Eggstravaganza Event. Meet the Easter bunny, hunt for eggs and find adventure in a life-sized candy land. 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. South Austin Recreation Center, 1100 Cumberland Road.

Jo’s 18th Annual Easter Pet Parade & Costume Contest.A parade up Congress Avenue from Annie Street Jo’s, followed by a party in the parking lot featuring a bouncy house, Easter bunny, live music and the costume contest. Proceeds benefit Austin Pets Alive. Noon Saturday. Free to march; $20 to register for pet costume contest. Jo’s Coffee, 1300 S. Congress Ave.

Texas Keeper Cidery Easter Egg Hunt.The cidery is offering three hunts for the kids: one for those younger than 3, one for those 3 to 6, and a final one for six- to 12-year-olds. For the adults, Texas Keeper will have cider and Easter-themed snacks from Cultivo Salsa Company & Catering. 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday. 12521 Twin Creeks Road.
