The Out of Bounds Comedy Festival has announced the intial roster of performers for its 2014 event, taking place Aug. 26-Sept 1.

From the Festival’s press release:

“This year’s featured headliners scheduled to perform include Key & Peele Writers (Rich Talarico, Rebecca Drysdale, Colton Dunn, Charles Sanders), Mo Collins (MADtv, Parks and Recreation), Paul Brittain (Saturday Night Live), Lauren Lapkus (Orange is the New Black, Jurassic World), Dave Hill and Matt Jones (Breaking Bad, The Office), Jon Gnarr (Comedian/Mayor of Reykjavik, Iceland), Maribeth Monroe (Workaholics, Second City), The RISK! podcast Live with Kevin Allison (The State), The Improv Nerd podcast Live with Jimmy Carrane (iO Chicago), Parisian Gentlemen of Paris (from Paris, France!) and many more.

The festival started in 2002 with a handful of mostly local sketch and improv groups performing over a couple of days at the Hideout Theater on Congress Ave. This year, Out of Bounds will host more than 500 sketch, improv and standup comedy performers in 130 shows at 10 central Austin venues including Stateside at the Paramount, The Long Center, Spiderhouse Ballroom, Hideout Theater, Velveeta Room, ColdTowne Theater, The Institution Theater, The New Movement and Austin Java.

“Our lineup this year represents our dedication to bringing new and interesting comedy shows to Austin,” says Out of Bounds Founder and Executive Producer Jeremy Sweetlamb. “From the gender-bending stand-up comedian mayor of a foreign capitol city to our own award-winning Key & Peele writing staff, we’ll be bringing some awesome comedy from all disciplines and corners of the globe, as well as presenting the best performers Austin has to offer, too.”

Festival badges go on sale for $109 at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1 at outofboundscomedy.com. Tickets to individual shows will go on sale later this summer.
