Amy Schumer is coming to Austin in 2014. The comedian will be at Bass Concert Hall on April 1, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Schumer’s hour-long stand-up special, “Mostly Sex Stuff,” became Comedy Central’s second-highest-rated special this year. Her show, “Inside Amy Schumer,” made its debut on the comedy network in April, and was recently picked up for a second season that will air in 2014.

Schumer gained national attention when she appeared on the 2007 season of “Last Comic Standing.” From there, she went on to guest on episodes of “30 Rock,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm” “Delocated,” “”Louie” and “Girls,” in addition to making numerous appearances on late-night talk shows.

Tickets to the performance are $37.50 to $45, and can be purchased from the Texas Performing Arts website, or by calling 512-477-6060.
