The holidays aren’t over just yet — you still have time to check out the lights and other festivities.

Bastrop’s River of Lights. See 120 lighted displays in a variety of seasonal themes on the city’s river walk along the Colorado River from Fisherman’s Park to the Ferry Park entrance. The displays along the half-mile promenade are illuminated nightly through Jan. 2.

Lights On! Walk the Lakeway Trail of Lights. 6 p.m. to midnight through Jan. 1. Lakeway City Hall, 1102 Lohmans Crossing. Free.

Lights Spectacular in Johnson City. Enjoy light displays throughout town and other holiday events through Jan. 1.

Mozart’s Holiday Light Show. A 12-minute light show set to music at this coffee shop on the water. 6-11 p.m. nightly at the top of the hour daily through Jan. 8. 3825 Lake Austin Blvd. Free.

Walkway of Lights. Wander along Lake Marble Falls and see the more than 2 million lights and 400 beautiful sculptures. 6 to 10 p.m. nightly through Jan. 1. 307 Buena Vista Drive, Marble Falls. Free.

Zilker Tree. Take a spin under the tree. 6 p.m.-midnight nightly through. Dec. 31. Zilker Park.


Eisbahn. Go skating in the Marktplatz in downtown Fredericksburg. Various hours through Jan. 1. $10 for all-day come-and-go skating and skate rental. 100 block of W. Main, Fredericksburg. 830-997-6597,

Ice Skating on the Plaza at Whole Foods. The flagship store offers ice skating 10 a.m.-9 p.m. daily through Jan. 7. Call or check the website for updated hours, as private parties can book the rink Monday-Thursday. $10/person, which includes skates. 525 N. Lamar Blvd. 512-476-1206,

Ice Skating at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa. Guests and passers-through can take a few spins around the ice skating rink on Riversong Lawn for a good cause. All-day skating includes skate rentals ($20 adult/$15 child for hotel guests; $25 adult/$20 child for non-guests) with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Bastrop County Women’s Shelter. 10 a.m.-8 p.m. daily through Jan. 4 (except Dec. 30-Jan. 1).
