HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOWS

Bastrop’s River of Lights. See 120 lighted displays in a variety of seasonal themes on the city’s river walk along the Colorado River from Fisherman’s Park to the Ferry Park entrance. The displays along the half-mile promenade are illuminated nightly through Jan. 2.

Buda Trail of Lights. Walk the lighted trail, drink hot chocolate and take pictures with Santa Claus. 6-10 p.m. Dec. 16-18. Historic Stagecoach Parks, 880 Main St., Buda. Free; free parking and shuttle at Cabela’s, 15570 S. Interstate 35. ci.buda.tx.us/trailoflights

Lights On! Walk the Lakeway Trail of Lights. 6 p.m. to midnight through Jan. 1. Lakeway City Hall, 1102 Lohmans Crossing. Free. lakeway-tx.gov/index.aspx?NID=315.

Lights Spectacular in Johnson City. Enjoy light displays throughout town and other holiday events through Jan. 1. lbjcountry.com/lights-spectacular.html

Mozart’s Holiday Light Show. A 12-minute light show set to music at this coffee shop on the water. 6-11 p.m. nightly at the top of the hour daily through Jan. 8. 3825 Lake Austin Blvd. Free. mozartscoffee.com

Rock’N Lights Holiday Tour. Drive through a 1.5-mile trail of 2 million twinkling lights and see all-new displays featuring a Prehistoric Christmas with dinosaurs, a Christmas in New York, a Safari Christmas and more. Various hours through Dec. 26. Old Settlers Park, 4111 E. Old Settlers Blvd., Round Rock. $15/car. roundrocktexas.gov/rocknlights.

Trail of Lights. See Zilker Park all lit up. 7-10 p.m. Dec. 16-23. Free Dec. 16, $3 Dec. 17-23 for ages 12 and older. Fast passes are also available for $15-$20. $15 parking passes must be bought in advance online, or ride the shuttle for $5, which includes admission, Dec. 16-23. Shuttles leave from Burger Center, 3200 Jones Road, and Republic Square Park, 422 Guadalupe St. austintrailoflights.org.

Walkway of Lights. Wander along Lake Marble Falls and see the more than 2 million lights and 400 beautiful sculptures. 6 to 10 p.m. nightly through Jan. 1. 307 Buena Vista Drive, Marble Falls. Free. walkwayoflightstx.com.

Zilker Tree. Take a spin under the tree. 6 p.m.-midnight nightly through. Dec. 31. Zilker Park. austintexas.gov/zilkerholidaytree.
