In a possible sign that not even Tex-Mex and margaritas are safe in an oversaturated restaurant market, Tex-Mex staple Trudy's has closed its Four Star location on US 290, according to Eater Austin. The purveyors of queso and wicked Mexican martinis still operates three locations, including the flagship spot near the University of Texas campus. The owner also operates South Congress Cafe on the booming centerpiece strip in South Austin.

Correction: A previous version of this post misidentified the Trudy's location that had closed. Trudy's Four Star closed.
