Antonelli’s marks birthday with Free Cheese Week at restaurants

What better way to celebrate a birthday than with free cheese? And it’s not even your birthday. Antonelli’s Cheese Shop in Hyde Park is celebrating turning nine this February with its Free Cheese Week at restaurants around town. Partners of the popular retailer and wholesaler will offer free cheese plates (one per table, savages) the week of February 4. Antonelli’s encourages diners to at least order a drink (and I encourage you to order a meal) and tip on the presumed amount of that plate. The schedule for Free Cheese Week is as follows:

February 4: Revue at The Fairmont, Chez Zee, School House Pub, Central Standard

February 5 - Winebelly, Blackstar Coop, La Volpe, Oasthouse

February 6 - Lenoir, Bufalina Due, Max's Wine Dive, Tiny Boxwoods

February 7 - Drink.Well, District, The ABGB, Easy Tiger on 6th

February 8 - Hillside Farmacy, Trace Bar, Austin Winery, 24 Diner

In addition to the gratis grubbing, Antonelli’s is also hosting a run of classes over two weeks, beginning on February 5 with a sparkling water and cheese class and concluding their first bus tour to Pure Luck Dairy and Treaty Oaks Distillery on February 17.
