Sixth street is getting an upgrade later this month — Bourbon Street style.

The Mardi Gras Bar Crawl is coming to Austin on Saturday, Feb. 22 to celebrate Mardi Gras.

At least 14 bars will be participating on 6th Street, where Austinites will have the opportunity to receive discounted food and drinks at bars and collect beads.

Attendees will have access to an interactive map listing all the participating bars and drink specials.

Registration will be from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at The Blind Pig Pub where attendees must present their ticket and ID and will receive their beads, a Mardi Gras themed cup and wristband. First 250 people to arrive at registration will receive a Mardi Gras masquerade mask.

According to their Facebook event, tickets must be printed or on your phone. Screenshots of the ticket will not be accepted.

Tickets to the event are $13-$20. Groups up to four people or more are eligible for a general admission discount up to 25% off.
