Geraldine’s holiday-themed pop-up bar brings the South Pole to Austin
Texans may not see any actual snow this holiday season, but it still feels like the most wonderful time of the year at Geraldine’s, which hosts its annual TexMas South Pole pop-up experience from Dec. 17 to 21, beginning at 6 p.m.
The restaurant and rooftop bar, which is located on the fourth floor of Hotel Van Zandt, will feature a snow machine, igloo lounges on the pool deck with views of downtown Austin, an artisan market, signature holiday menu and appearances from “Southern Santa.”
Santa will make appearances on Tuesday, Dec. 17 to help kick off the pop-up along with tunes from DJ Bird Peterson, and on Saturday, Dec. 21 to host Geraldine’s annual Motown Christmas showdown with music from Tje Austin.
The holiday menu will include Do-It-Yourself S’Mores and cocktails including Cowhand Coffee, Ho Ho Horchata and Santa’s got Yolks.
