Threadgill's World Headquarters has been a popular spot during South by Southwest. The second location of the storied restaurant and music spot is scheduled to close at the end of the month. [AMERICAN-STATESMAN file 2011]

The original Threadgill’s, which traces its history back to a North Lamar Boulevard gas station in 1933, is not in danger. But Threadgill’s World Headquarters, which Eddie Wilson opened in 1996 on West Riverside Drive, is set to close for good at the end of the month.

For an upcoming retrospective, we want to share your memories of the people, decor, food, fests and music — inside and out — at this popular spot located not far from the former site of the storied Armadillo World Headquarters (1970-1980).

Please send memories to features@statesman.com by Monday, Nov. 26.
