Preservation Austin lionizes stewards of our city’s historical fabric

Despite Austin’s current structural demolition derby, plenty of heroes are saving, rehabbing, restoring or repurposing our historic structures. We often find out about their stories when Preservation Austin, an advocacy group, honors them.

The nonprofit has staked out the Stephen F. Austin Hotel for its annual Preservation Merit Awards ceremony. The convivial luncheon will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 15. Table sponsorships and individual tickets are available at preservationaustin.org/events.
