It’s time to get your Leslie Knope on.

Galentine’s Day is slowly knocking Valentine’s Day out of the way as it opts to focus on the perfect time for a girls’ day or night out. What started out as an episode on the NBC sitcom, “Parks and Recreation” has become a long-standing tradition for celebrating the women in your life, especially the single ladies.

We’ve gathered some Galentine’s Day events for you and your favorite gal pals. Events for ladies just celebrating ladies.

Feb. 13

Galentine’s Day with Kendra Scott at The Domain

Kendra Scott invites you and your besties for a night to celebrate L-O-V-E with sips and sweets. Guests will be the first to shop Kendra Scott’s spring collection of 2020. (5:00 p.m. at 11506 Century Oaks Terrace #104; kendrascott.com)

Galentine’s Day at The Riveter: Austin

Whether it’s your mom, sister, co-worker, or bestie, The Riveter promises a night of celebrating female friendships. Your ticket includes a chance for a review of your dating profile, expert dating advice and an open bar with cocktails, rosé and champagne. They will also be hosting a raffle. Galentine’s Day Party with Austin Books and Comics

Austin Books and Comics will host their very own Galentine’s Day Party for a night of movies, games, food, beer and of course, comics. Graphic novels written by female authors will be 15% off. (7:00 p.m. at 5002 N Lamar Blvd., austinbooks.com)

“Parks and Recreation” Trivia Night at The Cavalier

This Galentine’s Day, get your trivia on and flaunt your knowledge with your gal pals. It’s free to play; teams can include one to six players, and prizes will be awarded to top players. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. and there’s a 30 team cap, but the bar will be serving up themed-cocktails to sip on until the quiz starts. Feb. 16

Galentine’s AcroYoga Class at Athleta

Athleta will host a beginner-friendly acro class led by Empowered Acro instructors. Ladies must bring their own yoga mat and all fitness levels are welcomed.
