Welcome to the new austin360.com
Today we’re unveiling a new look for austin360.com and our news site statesman.com. At the same time, we’re saying goodbye to MyStatesman.com, which had been our subscriber-only site the past five years.
The new austin360.com completes the American-Statesman’s transition into the GateHouse Media family of products following the newspaper’s change in ownership this year. The web design seeks to improve the experience for our readers and advertisers. We think it does just that and hope you agree.
“This new austin360 homepage is more visually interesting and allows us to show off our best stories, photos and videos,” said Statesman Managing Editor John Bridges.
Austin360 will remain free for everyone to use.
Our events listings have changed, and we encourage community groups and businesses to promote your events with us — and have your event listing shared among multiple sites. You can even get analytics to track the audience reach of your event listing.
We welcome your feedback via email at email@example.com or add your comments below.
We hope you enjoy the site.
How do I find content I am looking for? There is a navigation bar across the top of the site listing the most popular sections. A more detailed navigation menu can be found by clicking on “Sections” in the top left corner. Mobile users can select the three bars in the top left corner for navigation options.
Where is the search bar? Click on the magnifying glass in the top right corner.
My old article commenting login won’t work? You will need to establish a new login by clicking on signup above a commenting box at the bottom of a story.
The events calendar looks different? Yes, we’re using a new vendor. Any organization submitting events can register for a new account on the site.
