Austin has a new place to get boozy milkshakes thanks to Cane Rosso
When the Sunset Valley ice cream parlor Cow Tipping Creamery turns two this weekend, Austinites can celebrate with a new boozy treat.
The ice cream shop is enlisting the help of next-door neighbor Cane Rosso to create booze-filled milkshakes. Each one is an irresistible combination of Cow Tipping Creamery’s soft serve and toppings and pizzeria Cane Rosso’s spirits and liqueurs.
Though they’ll debut as part of Cow Tipping’s anniversary celebration, the boozy shakes will be available at Cane Rosso only — and will remain on the Neapolitan-style pizzeria’s drinks menu going forward. Get a first taste of them Saturday for $12. There are four options.
- Pina Cow-lada: Vanilla soft serve, blue curacao, pineapple juice, rum, whipped cream and gold sprinkles
- Pancakes & Sizzurp: Vanilla soft serve, Jameson Irish Whiskey, butterscotch schnapps, maple syrup, whipped cream and crushed cannoli shell
- Cookie Shake: Vanilla soft serve, dark rum, Kahlua, Bailey’s Irish Cream, whipped cream, and cookie butter drizzle
- Old Fashioned Shake: Vanilla soft serve, Cane Rosso’s barrel-aged Old Fashioned cocktail, whipped cream, sprinkles and a cherry
Cow Tipping Creamery’s second anniversary party will also have a couple of one-day specials. The anniversary stacker (Cow Tipping’s twist on a sundae) features birthday cake soft serve, Funfetti cake, pink velvet cake, white chocolate sauce, birthday cake crumbs and edible glitter, all topped with a birthday candle. You can also order $1 Kiddie Cake Cones garnished with rainbow sprinkles.
The ice cream shop is located at 4715 S. Lamar Blvd., Sunset Valley. For more information, visit cowtippingcreamery.com.
