Austin, we’ve got some ‘This is Us’ news that isn’t sad!

NBC’s family drama “This is Us” left us in tears after its post-Super Bowl episode Sunday, which was typical of the show that leaves fans with heartbreak after heartbreak each week. 

But we’ve got happy news! “This Is Us” actress Chrissy Metz, who plays Kate Pearson on the show, is stopping by Austin’s Paramount Theatre on April 7 while on tour to promote “This is Me,” an autobiographical book.

Metz will also hit Magnolia Market in Waco, making two Texas stops for the tour, which starts March 25.

The “This Is Us” cast is coming to Austin for South by Southwest in March, too, so even if you can’t see Metz, you can still get your cry on.
