Two of the scariest haunted houses in the nation are in Texas

Brazziell AMERICAN-STATESMAN) awarded the “13th floor” in San Antonio the creepiest haunted house in America. With it’s number one spot, the attraction is for true thrill seekers only.

The “13th floor” has two main themes. “Cursed: the Ritual and Biohazard” is full of werewolves and voodoo witches, and “Biohazard” takes brave participants through a toxic sludge-filled water plant. The haunted house is located in three other cities throughout the nation. But as we all know, everything (including a freakishly scary haunted house) is bigger and better in Texas.

Austin received a third-place award for its “House of Torment.” The haunted house has three different creepy versions for those who aren’t faint of heart.

“House of Torment” opens tomorrow and general admission starts at $20.
