Apparently, the Fourth of July isn’t just America’s Independence Day. It’s also National Country Music Day.

No, it’s not an officially recognized holiday and there’s not any legislation recognizing it as such, but back in the 1950s the Country Music Deejay Association (CMDJA) decided to create a day to celebrate Jimmie Rodgers and country music, according to National Whatever Day.
