The Four Seasons Austin has redesigned its spa and tripled the size of its fitness center. Former Austinite and University of Texas alum Michael Dalton of Whitespace Interiors did the design, focusing on letting the location’s scenery take center stage. He did add a really cool wall made with pink Himalayan salt.

For Mom for Mother’s Day, consider gifting the Herbal Apothecary Allergy Relief Massage. It’s an upper-body aromatherapy massage to help you open up airways and breathe again. $155 for 50 minutes, $205 for $80 minutes. Or give her the Daycation. Get a 80-minute massage, facial or body treatment, lunch at Trio restaurant and access to the outdoor pool. It’s available Monday through Thursday, $225.

Looking ahead to Father’s Day, the spa is offering the Whiskey and Whiskers Treatment Each 25-minute treatment features a deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation, a hydrating beard mask, hot towels, a face massage, Texas Beard Company’s Whiskey Barrel Aged Beard Oil and a shot of Treaty Oak whiskey. $90.
